The Climate, Environment and Bioscience Working Group held a meeting for members and friends on 24 May 2011 at the Royal OverSeas League, 100 Princes Street, Edinburgh.
The meeting was addressed by Dr. Morris Bradley, a retired psychologist, who, having lectured at Strathclyde University in behavioural, biological and physiological psychology, became Director of the Richardson Institute for Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution at Lancaster University. He now works on promoting awareness of climate change.
See the Resources for a Sustainable Future website for more information. In particular, there is a “Your Questions” section on the website, which encapsulates the arguments used in Morris Bradley’s presentation.
The meeting also considered what the priorities of the Working Group should be. You can see the draft priorities here. We are also writing to all members of UNA Edinburgh asking them to send their ideas in too. You can see the letter to members here – please send us your thoughts.
